Yeah Black Cat was a good decision. This turned out very sweet. I’ll have to see this up close before it goes off to auction. I know you have the group sketchbook, but is there going to be a personal Cliff only book on sale?

The sketch looks great, and I’m looking forward to seeing you at HeroesCon. One question: last year, you had some nice prints for sale of some of your Batman covers–will you have anything like that this year for Dr. 13?

I’ve been so busy this year that I haven’t had a chance to put together anything new for the convention. I would have loved to do a new print — I’ll still have the other ones at the show — but I will be bringing some original sketches that will be for sale.

I’ve always wrestled with the idea of a sketchbook as I haven’t produced enough sketch material to really justify printing one. Cheaply made sketchbooks are unfortunately ubiquitous, and I’d like to be able to offer something a bit more considered and worth everyone’s time and money. Lots to think about!
