I wanted Black Canary coming to the rescue here — a reverse damsel in distress — and I put Ollie in the classic Neal Adams costume because it matches the high adventure tone of it all. Thanks everyone! Darren, look for an Adams-esque costume in the next coupla issues. I felt the current One Year Later outfit feels even more old-fashioned to me than a dude with a feathered Robin Hood cap, and I wanted something that would match Black Canary’s outfit a bit better. Lost the battle over the hat, though…
