SDCC 2010 Sketches

BettieThe BrideDeath of Jean GreyDonna TroyAtlantis Attacks!Logan's RunSomehow, Comic-Con feels bigger and bigger every year. Lots of old friends to track down and new ones to chat with, so unfortunately, fewer sketches this time around. I may scale back on the list next year, since other shows seem to be a better place for me to concentrate on drawing. Still had a great time, especially with my boothmates Jill, Fabio, Gabriel, Cris, and Rafael. Next stop, Baltimore!

These are killer, Cliff. I don’t know who or why keeps getting you to do Kill Bill stuff but it’s ALWAYS fantastic. The Rocketeer one also stands out as really awesome.

Also, my buddy Mike got the sketchbook for me while he was at SDCC and I spent at least an hour or so just mesmerized it when we met up.

Nice work there Cliff. Any idea how much extre you charged for the caveman behind the sorceress?

Gorgeous, I particularly dig the Bettie as Rocketeer. Do I dare to hope that you’re involved with that upcoming IDW Rocketeer anthology? Would love to see a full story from you, but even a pin-up would be exciting.

Sadly, my exclusive with DC means I can’t participate in the Rocketeer Anthology. Which is too bad, since I just bought that Artist’s Edition and am very inspired!
