I’m curious and the choice to have Wolverine holding a beer can. I know it fits with the character, but I feel it detracts from the image as a whole. It doesn’t match the original image, which the other two do, and quite frankly looks silly to me.

Other than that, I love the concept and (except for the beer can) the execution.

Sorry the beer doesn’t work for you, Erika. Like the Elektra piece, I felt like it needed an extra bit of personality. One of the things I found most charming about that era of X-Men comics was the effort to humanize the team and show them doing normal things like drinking beer and playing softball. Just an affectionate nod to the past.
