Cool For Cats

CheetaraBefore I remembered the existence of Ma-Mutt on the Thundercats show, my initial sketch had a Scottish Terrier, which feels like an old-fashioned dog to me because they look like old men with mustaches. Or is that just me? OK, they look like your mom.  Zing!

Hope you enjoyed this series.  It was a lot more work than I’d intended to take on before Comic-Con, but I really got a kick out of the idea and have plans for more images somewhere down the line (including Black Canary, Zatanna, Wonder Woman, and Sue Storm), and I’ve gotten some great suggestions, too.  I’ll have the original art for these at the show, so visit me at Booth #1322 if you want to check ‘em out

Even as a young girl, I always sensed an inherent sexiness in Cheetara that I knew I should strive for if I ever *really* wanted to be a woman. This just proves it. Admittedly, I didn’t realize a bull dog would be involved.

Nicely done. :)

Thank you, Richelle! She reminds me of a hot aerobics instructor, actually.

I can totally see what you mean about the aerobics instructor. I think I have to agree with Richelle on this one. Cheetara was totally the look to strive for as a little girl, haha.

This pin-up series is really great Cliff. It’s hard to pick a favorite. I’m always partial to Poison Ivy but I think the dog might have won this one for me.

You should think about doing a post-card set of these or something. I’d love to have them.

Oh man. These pin-ups are great. I love all of them.
I’d been wanting to do a series of pin-ups myself of various characters from cartoons I grew up watching. I really have to get on that.

Are you going to be at the NYCC this year?
