London Calling
Green Arrow & Black Canary #7 is on sale this week. I think I got the idea for this cover after catching Quadrophenia on cable at 4 AM during one of my all-too-frequent all-nighters. Between the leather and the motorcycle, Black Canary looks like more of a Rocker than a Mod, if you ask me. Click on the image for pencils and inks.

Nice cover as always. And speaking of London, vote for Cliff as “Favourite Newcomer Artist” at the Eagle Awards 2008! I don’t know how he ended up in that category since I’ve salivated over his art since Josie Mac.

Thanks Adrian! Funny story: DC almost nominated me for a Russ Manning Newcomer award years ago, but rightly went with my good friend Goran Sudzuka, who went on to win the award that year!
